The founder, Marina Toledo, has been translating and interpreting for more than 14 years for Canadian, Spanish, and Latin American governments, the E.U., the film industry, technical and professional journals, pharmaceutical companies, health-care organizations and mining companies in three continents. She holds a B.A. Honours degree in Mass Communications and Political Science and is completing a Business Administration degree. Her interest in mining led her to develop a mining terminology glossary in English and Spanish.
She is passionate about top quality translation and interpretation as well as corporate training. Due to the evolving nature of language, Marina believes that professional interpreting and translating are lifelong learning professions. She enjoys training interpreters in the skills they need to achieve excellence in interpretation as well and corporations in improving communication, team building and inspirational leadership in order to create a positive working environment and higher productivity.
